The phenomenon of an Out-of-Body Experience [OBE] is the separation of the consciousness from the body; at times accompanied by an elevated perception whereby one sees their body from a 3rd-person perspective.

Out-of-Body Experiences [OBE] are also associated w/Astral Projection [aka Astral Travel] whereby one assumes a subtle body called an “astral body,” through which consciousness functions separately from the physical body & travels throughout the astral plane.
